Joy Malek Oldfield is an attorney at Hill Hardman Oldfield, LLC. She represents plaintiffs in cases involving medical and other professional malpractice, insurance disputes, automobile collisions, business/contract disputes and employment litigation. Joy has tried cases, argued appeals and successfully handled mediations and arbitrations in both state and federal court.
In addition to her practice, Joy is very active in the Ohio Association for Justice, the state's largest victims-rights advocacy association. In 2007, Joy received the organization's Distinguished Service Award and currently serves on its Board of Trustees. She was also named an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star in Cincinnati Magazine's 2007 edition.
Joy currently serves an appointed two-year term on the Ohio Judicial Appointments Recommendation Panel, created by Governor Ted Strickland to assist in the selection of judges for vacancies in Ohio courts. She has lectured on ethics, insurance law and personal injury before the Ohio Association for Justice, the Ohio State Bar Association and the National Business Institute.
Joy and her husband, Charlie Oldfield (a Youngstown attorney) reside in Cuyahoga Falls with their daughter, Amelia.
