John F. Hill is an attorney at Hill Hardman Oldfield, LLC.

John represents clients in a wide variety of complex cases, involving medical and legal negligence and business and investment disputes and employment discrimination and wrongful termination.

John graduated from Gannon University in 1984. He then graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He began his legal career with 5 years at a large Cleveland defense firm. He then joined Scanlon & Gearinger, Co. LPA, a large Plaintiffs' law firm. He spent 12 years there, before leaving to start his own law firm.

John has been Peer Review Rated AV (the highest rating) through Martindale-Hubbell's Peer Review Ratings System, found on www.martindale.com. He was named an Ohio Super Lawyer in Cincinnati Magazine's 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 lists of the top 5% of attorneys in Ohio, and was selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2008, 2009 and 2010 editions of Best Lawyers in America, in the areas of personal injury, business litigation and "bet the company" litigation, which can be found at www.bestlawyers.com. Mr. Hill was recently named the Best Lawyers 2010 Lawyer of the Year for in the area of bet the company litigation. He frequently lectures to physicians, attorneys and students at Kent State University and Akron University's School of Law.
